Persistent worlds and reset policies are different questions

Five deliberately selected games from the September census illustrate three different claims: continuity between sessions, competition in rounds, and an explicit no-reset promise. This is a public-source check, not a market survey or a test of what survives a wipe. No competitor accounts were created. DHEWY LTD publishes Street Crime and this research.

  1. Gangster Nation

    Round restart described. The official Rounds page says the competitive field restarts each round, usually after fifteen weeks. Carry-over rules for individual purchases or account records are not established by that page.

  2. Street Crime

    Between-session continuity described. Public pages describe an ongoing browser world and continuing character progress. The reviewed homepage and About page do not provide a universal no-reset guarantee. Gameplay losses and account rules remain separate questions.

  3. The Fifth Family

    Between-session continuity described; whole-game reset guarantee unconfirmed. The homepage describes an ongoing world and a separate weekly Arena. A recurring ladder does not establish a wipe of the whole character.

  4. Torn

    Explicit no-reset commitment. The official feature list promises that players and trained progress will not be reset. This records the publisher's commitment; it does not independently test delivery or establish protection from every gameplay loss or sanction.

Excluded

App-only games, social deduction games, single-player titles, inaccessible signup-only claims, and products supported only by third-party directory claims are excluded.

Neutral ordering

Entries are ordered alphabetically by game name. No score, award, payment, affiliate relationship, estimated popularity, or editorial preference affects placement.

Unknown values

Not publicly stated means the reviewed official pages did not establish the attribute. It is not a claim that the game lacks the feature.

Source policy

Descriptive claims use official publisher or game pages. Each entry records the pages reviewed and the date of that review. Later product changes are outside this snapshot.
