Terms of service
These terms explain the agreement between you and DHEWY LTD when you create an account, play Street Crime or buy digital content.
Who we are and when these terms apply
Street Crime is operated by DHEWY LTD, company number 09962740, whose registered office is 1 Station Court, Station Approach, Wickford, Essex, United Kingdom, SS11 7AT. These terms form the agreement between you and DHEWY LTD when you visit the service, create an account, play the game or make a purchase.
By creating an account or continuing to use Street Crime, you agree to these terms, the Player Rules, the Privacy Policy and any purchase terms shown to you at checkout. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 16
Street Crime is intended for people aged 16 or over. You must not create or use an account if you are under 16. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to review these terms and approve any purchase before you make it.
Your account
- Give accurate registration information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- Keep your password, PIN and account access private. Tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account.
- Use only the number of accounts allowed by the Player Rules. Do not sell, share or transfer an account.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from something DHEWY LTD did wrong.
Your permission to play
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to access Street Crime for lawful entertainment, subject to these terms. The game, software, artwork, text, brands and other service content remain owned by DHEWY LTD or its licensors.
Characters, game cash, credits, vehicles, items, ranks and other virtual assets are features of the service. They are not legal tender, investments or property that can be redeemed for cash. You may use them only inside Street Crime as the game allows. You must not buy or sell accounts or virtual assets for real-world money outside an authorised Street Crime checkout.
Purchases and memberships
Street Crime may offer credits, premium membership and other digital content. The price, currency, contents and any recurring period are shown before payment. Payments may be handled by providers such as Stripe or PayPal, whose own terms may also apply.
A recurring membership continues for the period shown at checkout until it is cancelled. You can cancel future renewals using the payment provider or the method shown with the purchase. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not automatically refund a period already supplied. Our Refund Policy explains how we handle payment problems and refund requests. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law.
Community content
You keep ownership of original content you post, such as forum posts, messages or uploaded images. You give DHEWY LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display and process that content only as needed to operate, secure and promote the service. You must have the right to post it and must follow the Player Rules.
We may review, restrict or remove content and may warn, restrict, suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect players, investigate abuse or comply with law. We consider the available evidence, seriousness, context and previous conduct. Serious abuse can lead to immediate action.
Availability and changes
Street Crime is a long-running online game and will change over time. We may balance systems, correct errors, add or remove features, reset unfair gains, perform maintenance or stop part of the service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, but urgent security, legal or operational work may happen without advance notice.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, DHEWY LTD is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, but not for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, business loss from consumer use, or problems outside our reasonable control.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Street Crime at any time and may contact us to request account closure. We may suspend or end access if you materially or repeatedly break these terms or the Player Rules, create risk for other players or the service, or where we must do so for legal reasons. Terms that by their nature continue after closure, including intellectual property, responsibility and dispute provisions, remain in effect.
Law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply where you live. We may update these terms as the game, law or our services change. We will post the current version here and give reasonable notice if a change materially affects players.
