Turf FAQ
Street Crime turf and business questions
Property and businesses can produce value, but ownership puts assets into a competitive world where maintenance, defence and timing matter.
What is turf?
Turf is the competitive property layer of Street Crime. Ownership can connect to businesses, income and control, while rival players or crews can challenge what you hold through the systems available in game.
How do businesses work?
Businesses are assets with their own current costs, returns, limits and management choices. Read the specific business screen before buying or changing one, because different assets do not all behave the same way.
Can turf be attacked?
Yes. Street Crime includes coordinated attacks against rival turf, including car bomb activity where the current requirements are met. Damage, defence and participation are governed by the live system rather than a fixed promise in this FAQ.
Is property guaranteed profit?
No. Purchase cost, ongoing decisions, player demand, competition and the risk of conflict all matter. Treat an asset as part of a strategy, not as a guaranteed return.
